Over the last 10 years Hesket Newmarket beers have won many awards at CAMRA and other beer festivals up and down the country. For example, Doris' 90th Birthday Ale won the 'Cumbria Challenge' at Kendal's 1997 Micro Beer Festival, and Catbells Pale ale was declared winner at CAMRA's 1997 Merseyside Festival. In 2000 Solway CAMRA presented Brewery Manager Mark Graham with a special award for "high quality brewing and services to real ale".

Old Carrock won the 'Best Strong Ale' award at the 2003 Wakefield Beer Festival.
