13th December 2012: Al Murray "The Pub Landlord" recently endorsed Doris' 90th in an autograph given to one of our shareholders, calling it "the best British Beer".
Black Sail Award
26th November 2012: Black Sail was recently awarded Beer of the Year for 2012 at Carlisle Beer Festival by Solway Camra.
Brewery Changes
7th August 2012: A new cask washer is now in operation, allowing faster and more efficient cleaning. We also have rented storage in close proximity to the brewery, alleviating some of the space issues associated with such a small operation.
